Hello,

New to the world snakes and we now have one.

My son and I attended a reptile show in Toledo Ohio. No intentions of getting a snake and intentionally did not take a large amount of cash. My daughter has wanted a snake for a few years and mom always says no. My daughter couldn’t go so it was just my son and I.

We got to the show about 2 hours into it. Lots of snakes going out the door. We found a vender selling baby corn snakes. My son pointed out, this one is $20. Yup, I saw that and the fellow had a good selection of other variants.

Long story short, has $30 with me. He has a couple male Sunkissed and I let my son pick one out. Remember, wife/mom says no...

Come to find out there is a show the next day, 7 minutes from our house. Most of the same venders and breeders would be there. Took my daughter to this one. We ended up winning the $50 expo cash door prize. Didn’t get anymore snakes, but did get a combo hide/water dish and a good supply of bedding.

So, after a 3 hour lecture the day before on what no means...

Here is our new snake mango. He hatched 7-28-19. Sold as a sunkissed, not the $20 normal we first looked at.

He has eaten one pinky mouse and he shed today. We got to see him start and finish.
