Hello from Indiana

I've been lurking these forums for a couple weeks now and wanted to introduce myself. I currently own a 3 year old leopard gecko and finally made room for a second tank that will hold a new corn snake! I've been doing tons of research on owning one and will be receiving my package tonight with everything to set up the tank. I plan on purchasing one this Sunday at the Midwest Reptile Show in Indianapolis :) I'm sure I'll end up posting pictures on the photo forum soon enough!

Welcome to the forums! My parents recently moved to Indiana, it seems like an all right place, haha.

Congrats on your future corn snake, too.

Hi there!

I'm Theresa and I live in Indianapolis. While I don't have a corn snake, I lurk about on the forums here weekly! There's so much to learn.

My son has a leopard gecko, and I have a western hognose snake and an Antilles Pink Toe Tarantula. The snake and the T both came from vendors at the reptile show.

Don't forget to stock up on pinkies while you are there! I bought 20 large pinks for $8.00. That would have been over $20 from Uncle Bills, I saved the price of admission.

Have fun and let us know what stole your heart!

I'm a former Hoosier who misses it! Welcome, and enjoy the hobby. We look forward to pics!

Not sure were Lebanon,IN is but I'm in Bloomington,IN. Just wanted to welcome you here tot he forums and to wanting to get a corn snake. They are awesome pets to have and so enjoyable. I have 5 adults myself plus I bred this year for the first time so now I have 16 babies out of 19 that hatched. Did you ever find one at the show? If not and are not to far from bloomington, let me know. I am only asking $20.00/each for the ones I have.
