Two sheds a month apart?

Is it normal for an adult corn to shed a month apart? Jax is about 5 and last shed Oct 5 and I noticed yesterday that he'd been hiding and when I checked he was in blue again. His last owner didn't keep track of sheddings but I was told he shed about every 2-3 months. Is this normal?

I was only able to get him to eat last week, he had been refusing food since I got him, so I'm not overfeeding or anything.

Most corns shed monthly, but not all do, so it is totally normal. The older they get the less they shed since they stopped growing.
