Feeding questions

Hi, as I already introduced myself and my corn I have some questions about feeding her.

She is 31cm and her weight is 8 grams, as I bought her almost a month ago she supossed to clutch in mid august, so she's almost 4 months now but I think she is very small? I don't know if I really bought her as a 3 months old baby and she wasn't fed or she is younger than I was told.

She eats well her reds and always look for more. I feed her 1red every 5 days. Digestion process is pretty quick it takes her around 24-38h - after that time she is pretty active everyday in the evening.
My question is: can I feed her with second red after first one or she is too small for that? Or better is to let her grow slowly and stay with schedule I already have for her?

I wouldn't move up to two pinkies just yet. Growth at that size is typically pretty slow and if your gram scale only measures in whole grams, you won't be able to see the tiny amount of growth after each meal. If you'd like to speed up the growth a bit, you could either do a 4 day feeding schedule or you could do a slightly larger pinkie.

I do not move my hatchlings up to double (reds) until they are about 16 grams.
Feeding too large of meals can lead to regurgitation, which can be a life threatening issue if it occurs repeatedly.

As Hypnoctopus stated, you can shorten the duration between feedings a bit.

Are you familiar with the Munson Plan feeding guide?
It is a good guide to use to help you determine when to move up in prey size.

Weight Freq prey size prey wght
4-15gr 5-6 days pinks 2-3gr
16-23gr 5-6 days dbl pinks 3gr X2
24-30gr 6-7 days sm fuzzy 5-7gr

Yes I'm familiar with that plan, thank you. I just gave her 3g instead of 1g, she digested it as normal, so I will stick to that with a 5 day break
