Just thought I would share pics of some of my cresties. I'm hoping to start breeding next year once everyone is grown up. They are such fun little creatures.

Thanks for looking!

OMG, soooo cute... I especially love that red Dalmation! :) I've been thinking of getting a crested (or two or three), but still debating over whether I'm a lizard person - didn't really like my leopard geckos, so I adopted them out, but I hear cresties have a LOT more personality. Can you handle them easily?

That is an awesome collection you have! Going to be some beautiful babies some day soon!

As a whole, cresteds are fairly easy to handle, it depends quite a bit on the individual. I love the way they feel, they aren't scaly, they feel like velvet. They do jump, which can be a bit disconcerting until you get used to it & can tell when & where the are going to jump.

Thanks you guys! Yeah you are right there are a lot a ugly cresties (or not so flashy I guess, I feel bad saying ugly, cause they are all cute) out there, and unfortunately people still breed them. Tavia is right they can be handle-able and it all depends on the particular crestie. Some do like to jump unexpectedly from your hand, so it's best to hold them close to the floor. One of my males is very calm and seems to not mind keeping me company at my computer. I think they make awesome pets. Very much like corn snakes too, you can't have just one. I can't wait to breed! I'm so excited to see what I'll get from these guys. I've been trying to pick up the best I can find (and afford). I love Northern Gecko stock, but sooo expensive... someday!

Hey if anyone has a crestie post a pic!

Here are some older pictures of my two, I don't have any good newer ones. The first one is Miami, 110% male, pic is unfired. Then the other one is Maui, who up until a bit ago I thought was a male, but am now thinking is a girl. S/he is about 75% fired in the picture, gets a little darker & more orange.

Yeah, with the name theme I've got going, adding more is almost a necessity! LOL The theme is place names, county, city, state, nation, etc. I've already posted this picture, but here is the hopefully gravid female I've got ordered. (not my pic, courtesy of the breeder)

Well, I was going to name her Arizona, but decided to keep the name that the breeder had for her since it fits too. The breeder named her Cairo. So I will probably name one of her holdback babies Egypt.
