So Fluffy was out for a long time last night while I was trying to remedy my temperature situation (see my other post), so I decided to take some pictures. I might be biased but I think she's so pretty! I'm still unsure what to call her. You guys told me she was a hypo, but is that it? Does she have a specific coloring or morph or whatever you call it? Sorry, I'm still totally new to all this.

Hypo means Fluffy has two copies of a recessive gene that reduces melanin, the black pigment. Hypo is a morph.

Fluffy is VERY pretty!
 
Is Fluffy's belly clear, or does she have checkers? She looks kind of Motley-ish to me.

Mmm I love the gun metal gray look a few of her "border" scales have. She's gorgeous!
 
She is indeed a motley. Hypo motley, in fact, which makes her double-recessive, and therefore officially Fancy. And her belly is SO CUTE!!!

You are absolutely not the only one who is charmed by this snake! And I'm SO glad you took her, because this means I still get to see her! Fluffy is totally my favourite snake in the world who isn't one of mine. I grinned when I saw the title of this post, before I even clicked over. In fact, I still have photos of her on my phone from when she was at the rescue!
 
Nice! Hypo Motley is a beautiful thing! I wonder if she has any hets? :)

haha. She's probably hating me right now for yanking her out of her nice cozy warm shoebox at the rescue. But, better be a little chilly than burnt :uhoh:

With some luck my new probe will be here by Friday and FLuffy can then eat and be happy again.
 
She hated that box, though. She was always knocking her water bowl over and crinkling up her newspaper, I can only assume because she was looking for something to do. I'm sure she's at LEAST as happy slightly chilly!
