My First Milk Snake

My boyfriend and I both work for Petsmart (not that we like it lol), he works at one an hour away from the one I work at and I go there every once in a while. One day a month ago when I was there he showed me this Pueblan Milk Snake and told me it had been there for over a year. No one wanted the poor guy because he musks a lot. I wanted to buy him because I felt bad for him but I didn't and said that is they ever put him up for adoption I would take him. Well my boyfriend asked if he could adopt him and brought him home for me yesterday.

He does mush a lot whne you first take him out but after awhile he stops but he is a bit wiggly. I think he will calm down with regular handling though.

Here's some pictures, he is a bit shy.

Nice looking snake. Dang, looks like you have a pet store at your house.

Thanks and there is definitely is a small zoo here lol.

It looks more like she has an entire reptarium at her house. There are no mammals listed in her signature.

There are other animals here too but I don't think there ,ay not be enough room in my signature lol. I have 10 rats, a mouse, 2 rabbits, 4 fish tanks, 2 indoor cats and 3 outdoor cats.

He'll probably calm down some. When I had Inez (Nelsons) she musked when I would first get her out, every time. I'd just run her under the daucet in the kitchen, and proceed to handle her. When she was a year old, she stopped doing it nearly completely.
