So I take Jacob to the bus stop every morning (about a half mile from our house) between 7:05-7:15. One morning last week..I got this surprise! I forgot I had the pics on my camera until I uploaded the dubia roach pics..I was lucky to be able to get these shots after taking him to the bus stop.

Yea, I was lucky it wasn't gone by the time I got back home and got my camera out!
We have such beautiful views here. I have to get some good fall shots soon before the color leaves the trees.
 
Thank you for reminding me that I need to take more time to appreciate the beautiful things in life! What luck to capture such an amazing sunrise at just the right moment. That last picture looks like an oil painting.

I live in a valley, so even minor cloud cover produces awesome sunsets/sunrises. If we have a week of an unstable but weak low pressure system producing partly/mostly clouds for a week, there will be 14 times you can go outside and see amazing colors you normally don't see. I need to bother getting pictures more often; I forget not many people get this. :laugh:
