So...i spent 3 months switching this bad boy over to f/t and man it was a trip but finally now that hes switched and lookin good i took some post shed pics!
He is apparently sterile so i got a great deal on him, and now he is part of my multi color/species collection!

He is very handsome! I was actually eyeing these guys at the last show I was at.

How would they know he is sterile? Does he not have any hemipenes or were they removed for some reason?

he was bred multiple times over two years and he has produced no offspring. The guy i got him from said he was getting to home base but he was just shooting blanks apparently.

This guy was the only one i saw at the show up here in MD, he was beautiful and i knew i had to nab him! He was 70 bucks and hes 4 years old :p
 
I have been eyeing those guys for a while now. I would love to get something like that for my future educational ventures.

a lot of people said they can be bity, and this guy wasnt held a lot, but hes a charmer, and quick like other rat snakes. but hes a great climber, if i ever dont want him to run away, i pick up a big stick jungle gym and hold it in the air lol, he just keeps climbing.

i was hoping to do educational work with this guy as well, hes got an amazing color and a great history behind his species.

You're the one who got him! ( That is if you were talking about the last Mars show. ) I was there with my young friend and she had her heart set on that snake. We stepped away to think about it and when we came back, he was gone. My friend was heartbroken! I guess it wasn't meant to be.

No biggie though. I think she wants to get into breeding and if he can't be bred then that would have nixed that dream. She has already tracked down another owned by a friend she might get. I hope she does. They are that beautiful!

He was and is a beauty though. All the best to you and him. Merry Christmas!

oh no!!
As soon as i saw him i knew other people would be after him! I had to think on my feet because i honestly came to the show looking for a boa, but my BF picked this dude out and its my BF's first snake so we nabbed him. Youre welcome to come visit him! and yeah hes sterile so no babies ):

sorry i gobbled him up!!
