The 2nd Annual NW Carpet Fest is a week away!
This event is modeled after the NE Carpet Fest, which was started 3 years ago. The intent is for fellow Morelia fans to get together to get to know each other, outside of a show/expo setting.
There are no vendors or tables set up.
There are, however, items that can be bid on, and unless other wise specified, all of the proceeds will be split 50/50 for USARK and Rico Walder. For those that do not know, Rico is a well known, and well respected member of the Morelia community. He is a pretty big name in the GTP world. He was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. Any of the proceeds that go to him are towards his ongoing battle to survive.
This year, our focus is on vouchers with a certain dollar amount, to give the winner the chance to choose the animal that they want, rather than just the one presented at the auction.
There is one Carpet Python that will be present at the event, for auction. 2013 100% het Albino (pure) Darwin male, produced by Nick Mutton. (I'll attach a photo of him).
All of the auction items have been posted on the NW Carpet Fest page.
The online auctions will close on Friday, July 25 at 23:59 PST. Those who attend the event will have the chance to bid higher on those items.
