Update and New - Beardies

Update on Nadra, who is, now, 3 1/2 months old and very recently shed. She is, as stated in the first thread about her, a Citrus x Tangerine.

Plus introducing the newest boy, who arrived a couple weeks ago. He is 10 wks old and, also, recently shed. This boy's father is a Belgian Red and mother is a Red. No name, for him, yet. For some reason, as of late, I have been having problems coming up with names that I like (or can, at least, live with). Nuri or Zip have come up, and are possibilities, but ... not sure how I feel about either of those names.

Anyway...
Here are my Beardie babies.

This first set, of photos, are of Nadra. In the first photo, she is showing her feelings towards the big black camera monster invading her personal safety bubble.:grin01:

They are both gorgeous!

Is the male from Justin? I was looking at a female from him but am still undecided about getting another one since I have the babies and will be keeping at least two.

Thanks for the pics, my wife wants a bearded dragon.
I just showed her Nadra and she said, "She's beauuuuutiful!"
So...is a citrusXtangerine expensive? I haven't started pricing yet but I think I don't have much influence on the kind of dragon we get.

Tell your wife I said Thanks.:)
Nadra is, still, young so ... she should get even prettier.

I don't think they are. They are not the cheapest Dragons but not outrageously priced either. Depending on who you get one from, the price range varies. I would expect that you can, certainly, get one for under $200.

Have to keep the wife happy, you know.;)

Very pretty! Colors like that always make me think of the national parks of Utah: Zion, Arches, Bryce. Maybe there is an arch or rock formation name that would fit.

Or Garden of the Gods in Colorado! I totally agree. Beautiful animal, I'd LOVE to have a bearded dragon again myself but I'm so worn out on bugs.. I'll have to settle for you guys' threads..

Thanks, Tom, Rich, Dale, Dean, and dpreston66.:)

Very cool, Deb. The new boy looks great!

In these pics, he is a little darkened (not fully - he can get darker).
You can tell when he is in a dark phase, by other areas of his body, but the first give away is on his head. Where it is more brown (or brown with a slight red tinge), it is a nice red, or orangey-red, when in his bright phase (lacking the brown, or brownish, coloring).
He tends to darken when he is first taken out of his viv and for a bit afterwards.
Still very beautiful but ... he looks awesome when in his bright phase (which he is, usually, in when in his viv).
Hopefully, as he gets older, feels more comfortable with his surroundings, & more secure about himself, he will be in his bright phase, more often, while out of his viv.

They're both super-cute...I was recently at a show & I couldn't help but play with a big container of very happy & healthy looking beardies; running all over, licking & even one nipping at my finger, curious little heads turning...just adorable. :) You have some very gorgeous beardies! :)
