hi all i ave a 4months old cornsnake and every mornin i wake up and go to the bathroom it is in the bath every mornin i dont understand how it is gettin out of the tank which has sliding glass door at the front of the tank

could sme1 plz help me

thanks

Maybe it getting in between the doors. One trick I heard of is placing a straw there, in the gap. That might help.

I have watched a snake twice the width of the gap in the sliding doors squeeze through it and escape. Thats where s/he will be getting out. Use a piece of cardboard to wedge inbetween the gap, just until your snake gets bigger.

You may want to look at getting a smaller glass or plastic viv or Rubbermaid/Tuperware container with a fitted top until your snake is a bit older and bigger. Another suggestion for the sliding glass doors is to cut a piece of styrofoam to wedge in the gap.
