Hi Rich,

I pm'd you the other day about all the forums being locked when I logged in. It's ok now but I still seem to be locked out of corns for sale and corns wanted threads. Not that it really bothers me, as most of these threads are for US based folks but I'm just wondering what's going on?? :confused:

Because, this was a DUH! situation. I didn't realize that those forums had been set with custom permissions, so when I just did a global change to enable posting for all registered members, it didn't affect those forums.

There is no general switch on this message board system to make the entire site READ ONLY. So I had to do it via member group. But that only affects the default, and does not affect any forum that has custom permissions set.

This site is relatively easy because of the small number of forums. FaunaClassifieds is a real bear to manage. No telling what I have forgotten to enable over there....
