He is ~HUGE~! What do you feed him, rats? How much does he weigh? His coloring is very vivid. I hope he fathers good looking snakeys!

He's 940 grams (a little more than 2 pounds ? ) 1 week after brumation ( 2 months no feed ) .
He eats medium sized rats when he's back on his normal diet

Big boy! I have one about that size, but he's on a diet because he's a little squishy. I have him eating one regular mouse every two weeks. I fed him a jumbo mouse a feed ago, and he gained 50g from it! I certainly don't think I'd be able to feed him rats or he'd just get really fat.

Great-looking snake!

Amazing Mark!
Where did you get that? (The snake not the belly! :D)

Q :Where will be Abbotts Okeetee from ?
A : From Lee Abbott ( if not bred by myself by Lee's animals off course )

(Q ; belly ?)
(A; from Duvel THE Belgian STRONG beer :spinner:)

Awesome Mark... My jaw drops every time I see him. Just amazing.

My male ABBOVE (Abbott X Love) line male is developing the "fuzzy" saddle look also. Unlike some okeetees with clean black borders, yours (and my male)have that"fuzzy" (don't really know a different term to use) look of black fading into a red center.

It seems like they develope it with age. My '08 male started with clean saddles and with age is looking more and more like the saddles of yours.... Do you have pics of your guy and a juvie/sub adult?

Fantastic Okeetee! Real close to having a solid black saddle on an orange ground! Not to go look at the ladies...

Wow, he's almost as big as my Ball Pythons... very nice!! The more I see these Abbotts, the more I want one. :)
