And thus were there many photos of snakes.

Marissa popped by and took a bunch of pictures of my crew. My eyes are ready to fall out after looking at so many pictures to select the ones I absolutely loved the best. x_x

First up happens to be poor Vanay, who is now a whopping 8 months old. She's in shed, poor gal.

She apparently wanted to join in on the mobius snake trend.

It's astounding how brown and "dirty" she looks in blue. Completely unattractive. Favorite part of this pic? The black tongue! I *adore* her black tongue. :D

Might as well post her boyfriends next:

Here be Aeleshi, 09 charcoal het diffused. He's a much more 'delicate' eater than the other kids. Refuses to take double pinks. Guess he wants to stay svelte.

And then Eliel, handsome ghostlet from Carol. Wonderful low contrast on him.

And the potential boyfriends... (Vanay has a harem!)

Essan, also an LBR kiddo. Blood p/h charcoal, hypo. His nose looks funky because I was dumb and didn't latch his cage properly and he squeezed out to spend a week on safari in my room.

Oru decided today was a 'tude day. :/

More in the next reply!

And for the remaining crew...

Here is my not-a-sunglow, Dier. It doesn't matter what lighting or lack there of you use, this kid glows.

And now for the gray crew.

Here be Liam, my first snake. He's going to be a daddy this year.

liam1101.jpg

Hard to believe once upon a time he almost looked like a ghost.

liam1102.jpg

And while ceduke may hate it :p I *love* his yellow.

Tor be up next. 07 ghost het amel. She is going to be a mommy this year. Essan's photo shoot was immediately after hers... and hoo-whee was he interested in the cloth. He was so excited and head weaving. Guess that means Torandre is pretty sexy to the boys.

Next up is Abrina. She's not got as much yellow as the other two, however I think I like the way hers is patterned the best.

Last but not least for now is Nashe, anery p/h hypo sunkissed. She's eating like a champ and growing like a weed. Had her first fuzzy last week.

Thanks guys! and OMG I forgot Mallien! *is a horrible snake mommy* How could I forget my tiny headed, tiny-eyed "old man" baby snake?

sorry I choose photos you dislike marissa. XD And I *love* that photo of Nautley, but it makes him more colorful than he actually is. >_> He *cheated* in that photo.

I just think it's funny that we look for different things in the pictures you (just an assumption) look for what the snake actually looks like, while I look at composition a little more and don't know what the snake looks like as well as you.

And I spent SO much time photoshopping dog hair out :p.

awwww... thankyou for that effort. :D Yes, as a more "professional" photographer, it makes sense you'd go for the artsier shots. I do really love the picture of Eliel draped over the cat, too.

Who cares what you can call it? It's a pretty snake. They're all pretty snakes, even that damaged bloodred. That pic makes him look like some kind of corn/hognose

*grins* I definitely think Dier ties with Vanay(when not in blue) for my most beautiful snake. Definitely the easiest to get pictures of, that's for sure! Totally laid back, doesn't care about being handled. How I <3 my little petco impulse buy.

Nice Petco snake, I'm surprised it didn't catch someone's eye on just looks.
Now you need to invite Marissa back after Vanay sheds,

Even more amasing... Dier was there for 2 months. I at first didn't want to him/her because s/he was totally scabbed up on the head. But the scabs began resolving eventually, and finally I could resist no longer.

Admittedly though, s/he was much more bland looking as a hatchling, but still more colorful than the "usual" petco amels.

Dier shortly after purchase (you can see the scar):
