i am new to all this cornsnake stuff and new to this site. I have noticed people listing snakes after their text. stuff like 0.1 amel, 2.0 creamsicle.

what exactly does this mean? how can you own 0.1 of an amel? what am i misunderstanding here?

It's a shorthand for listing the sex of the snakes.

X.Y = Males.Females

Example: 2.5 - 2 males, 5 females

X.Y.Z = Males.Females.Unknown Gender

Example: 2.6.32 - 2 males, 6 females, and 32 of unknown gender

I am sure you will enjoy it very well as well as learn a plethora of info. The 1.0 means 1 male. A 0.3 means 3 females. A 0.0.1 means an unsexed individual.
