I don't think thats true. I had that with a really weak animal and it did not do any harm to it - at least not more than giving it Bioserin via a probe directly into the stomach.
Furthermore, I think you are reducing Cryptos way too much to their symptoms of regurging and their active phase. I don't think that one would have noticed anything special except from a little slower growing in my nice baldy headed bloodred, which will move to the vet today.
So, if animals with no visible sign of cryptos can bring your whole stock into trouble - what about animals regurging a few times excreting Cryptos constantly in this phase?
