1.1 Bloodred het Ghost !

cornscornscorns
These are my bloods het ghost that I picked up from Rebecca of Triple R Corns back in September. They're gorgeous, I'm super happy with them and they both have some crazy possible pied sides to them

First is Paprika, my female

I put her in my hoodie pocket while I was changing out her container and I looked inside and found her all curled up and cute!

Next is Cayenne, my male

He also doesn't have as much of the pied side as Paprika does

I love my bloodred babies! They are totally not mean at all either! Paprika was at first, what with her tail rattling and nipping, but it didn't take her long to calm down.

Thank you Rebecca for the beautiful corns!

What cuties! I love the names as well!!

Paprika is a favorite, and Cayenne is cute too. It's funny, the last pair of bloods I got took me awhile to name. I was almost dead set on Paprika for the female, but couldn't come up with something satisfying for the male. My roommates suggested Cayenne, but I insisted that was a girls name! In the end I named them Eleanore Rigby and Sgt. Pepper.

I think Cayenne suits your little male just fine though. ;)

Also, I've definitely experienced a color difference between my male and female in Bloodred siblings. With my first pair there was a huge difference. The female was bright red, while the male was Orange, and never really reached the same color as my prized female.

The pair I have now is somewhat similar. The female is really red, while the male's colors are more subtle. I think it's just a coincidence that in both of our cases the males have been orange while the females are the smoking ones.. males can be just as red as well while some females can be left in the dust.

I'm sure they will change a lot over the next few months/ year! Keep us updated!

I love the hoodie pic! They are some good looking babies :)

Hopefully one day I will be blessed with one of their offspring!

Oh man, I always get so disappointed when someone besides the OP updates a photo thread..

I'd love to see more recent pictures of these beauties.
