she eats either i mean does it matter because the rat pinkie is 1 1/2 girth

A one year old female could be any manner of sizes.
We don't know how big your girl is, hence the 1.5x the width of the snake guideline.
 
it depends on her size/weight, she should be fine on small rat pinkies, or fuzzy mice, but as i said it depends on the size/weight of the snake.



p.s. a big "rat pup" is equal to an adult mouse in size,
