Thanks Mike! you responded while I was crafting my novella on my thoughts. I agree on the ultramel theory but I'm far from expert. Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated.
in my experience (which is a bit slim, I'll admit) The caramel gene lends a yellow tint to where ever it is present (even if it is only het.) so I'd guess a golddust lav would be a rather unattractive snake...purple and yellow don't usually mix well...but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I'm sure even the snakes with a face that "only a mother could love" would find a whole fan club on this forum!
A butter lav, on the other hand might have less color...don't know.
It seems like when you start overlapping a ton of morphs, the outcome looks exactly the same as something that's already out there just with a fancier name.
here's a link to some theoretical hypo caramel lavs http://www..com/forum/showthread.php?t=7420
*NOT MY PICTURES, NOT MY SNAKES. credit goes to someone else on the planet.*
I can't get the link to work Kels. I think all of Minnesota Vikings nation would tend to disagree with you on the beauty of purple and yellow :roflmao:
By the way how do you know your guitars, keyboard and tuba are female, and your clarinet male?
lol. I've had to explain that before. My husband names everything, musical instruments included. When I asked why they are all girls, he says (of his tuba) "if I gotta make out with it, it's a girl!" classy, no? lol
The clarinet, however, is mine. So it is male by default.
thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Looking at the clutch all in a pile reminds me of a bowl of the candy pixie sticks on halloween. That link still isn't working Kels...seems the www..com is missing something between the dot dot?
