2 dogs + 1 porcupine =

oooooh... ((((bluebird)))) I'm so sorry to hear that Dozer still not 100% better but I'm glad that Diesel feels better now...

Are the high levels of ketones related to the porcupine quills or is it something different?

Its not related to the quills.... its a completely different problem unfortuately. If he's diabetic, then it can be controled with insulin injections twice a day. If its a liver problem, then its a matter of what's wrong with his liver...that scares me. On thursday night, Diesel woke me up crying, so I thought something was wrong with him....but he woke me because Dozer was exploding all over my kitchen:cry: I had initially worried Dozer had ingested quills and had an impaction, but it would seem its something physically wrong with him.

Thanks for the well wishes :)

oh no... that's so rough... poor Dozer, I hope it is the lesser of two evils and that it is diabetes that can be controlled.

When will you get the test results back?
