:shrugs: What does the # mean before the type of snake.Under someones name I will see 0.1 or 1.6 and what types of corns they have.What does it mean ??.
Second,,How big does a corn snake have to,or should be to set up in a 30 gal.tank ?.I have a 10 and a 30 that I could use.I also have a 40 and a 75,but these are occupied at the moment.
 
The numbers refer to the amount of snakes and of which gender.

0.1 is one female, 1.0 is one male, and 0.0.1 is one unknown sex.

So a 3.6.16 would be 3 males, 6 females, and 16 unknowns.

I would say pop your snake in the 30 gallon and it has a home for life. Many say a 20 gallon long (breeder tank) is fine.
 
Thanks PnyKlr,,thats what I was thinking.I would just set him up in the 30 and give him plenty of time to get used to it.. :)
 
If you think your snake will be a little scared in a large tank, just put a lot of hiding places (multiple hides....I also use fake plants/vines on the floor) to make it more comfortable.
