Nobody attacked you, yet I feel like that comment was directed to me. If so, you need to get some thicker skin. You asked for advice, which means opinions, not help, and you got it. You were told no by another forum, and you came here hoping we'd say yes. When that wasn't said, you got fiesty.

Deal with it.
 
no i came here seeking better advice cause people over here arent as clued up as the people over there. it doesnt matter anyway as ive taken kathy love's advice not anybody else as i know this was the best advice to take.

im not a complete noob either so there was no need for some of the reply's to be so patronising.

advice does mean help not opinion. if i wanted ur opinion then i would have asked for your opinion not ur ADVICE.

as for the curse i am sorry i didnt know that was taken as a curse over there as it isnt here. very sorry for that

anyway i think this thread should end here as its all getting a bit childish now and we are all starting to sound very stupid.

Joe? Do you have to practice being a jerk or does it just come naturally? You are seriously the absolute WORST about putting people down. Do you ever look at what you type and put yourself in the place of the reader?

Perhaps I'm just fiesty tonight, I don't know.

Usually it just comes naturally, but it's normally not unprovoked.

He asked for advice on the matter, which means your opinion regarding the subject. He did not like anyone's opinion about housing two snakes together, or so it seemed. He felt attacked, and cursed and complained about being attacked and put down. Apparently he didn't want our opinions, but only our advice--which is the same thing. Advice is formed on opinions, which was my point. I suppose I just should have let it go and not posted...

Honestly Joe, on this one, your attitude came through. He asked for advice, not a "Know it All" response. Helping people is what we're all about here isn't it??? Not everybody is as "experienced" as you are. PLEASE don't make them feel like if they come here asking for advice they're going to get attitudes. Make them feel welcome to ask for help. :shrugs:
 
Joe, Joe, Joe....lol...when i read your post i found it a bit inflammatory too...depending on my mood or how bad/long my day was, NuttyBulls response was mild compared to what i may have replied with, altho i would "most likely" have pm'ed it...Even if he was somewhere else online asking the same "old thing" (for me, it's only here or very ocasionally in Alex Hue's chat room) sometimes you just need to let it slide...Whatever you may mean what you type, it sometimes come across in a demeaning manner...

Been there, done that, put my foot in my mouth several times along the way too...But...You'll get more respect online and throughout the community wielding a velvet hammer than you ever will swinging that blunt broad sword of a tongue wagging out yer noggin...;*)
 
keeping snakes together and some odds and ends

the main concern about keeping corns together are as corncrazy said:
* Disease transmission(after quarantine period not much of a problem)
* Health problems due to breeding too early.(this is allways a problem with male and female groups)
* Illness due to stress.(if you have a large cage with 4 hides 2 on the hot side and 2 on the cold side it lowers the amount of stress on the snake)
* If one of them regurges or has diarrhea, it'll be harder to know which one it was.(good point never really thought about that, but with a littel bit of work on an individual feeding schedule for each snake it will make it easier to tell these things. But you might have to clean the cage more often)
* Cannibalism[I/](more of a problem with corns under a year old but can happen in adults)

odds and ends

Most people believe that there opinions are the correct way of doing things. I try to show people the pros and cons of what ever their asking. Or just show the other side of the opinions allready given. Ever since all of the thread wars that vinman was involved in i have started to notice a trend of people being hostel to people who have different opinions. And joejr. most of your post come off hostel, you really know what you are talking about but you seem to come off smug and snobby in your post. It is almost like you relish it after all you call your self the "grand bubble burster". i Am not trying to flame or start another thread war but this trend i kind of disturbing to me because this forum is for helping and not an exclusive club. if i have offended any one with this post i am truly sorry because that was not my intent.

oh and pleas don't mind the grammar and punctuation problems, bad at righting and even worse at typing.
