Striped Topaz SK SG Free
Sunkissed Pied-Sided x Het Striped Orchid Stragazer
Here are some Stargazer testing breedings. This first one is a reason some may say it is a waste of time to test for SG. With poor fertility like this, it may seem like a waste of time, but I got three eggs from another het SG female from this male, so 9 eggs may tell me something if they hatch.
I always believe knowing the truth about something is the right way to go, especially in the long run. I am way behind where I could be creating Sunkissed Combines, if it wasn't for my testing of my lines.
It is great when you can test the Sunkissed that creates a line and prove the entire line SG Free, but sometimes like with this SKPS male, I had to take a different approach.
Look at the genetics of this female het SG. She is het for Striped Orchid, don't I wish! The project started bad. I only produced 2.1 Het Striped Orchids. The Sunkissed was egg bound and eventually died, so I had to test each one of the 3 project Corns.
1.1 Tested het SG, so I am glad I know the truth about that project. I also love knowing the truth about the many Sunkissed lines I now have that are SG free.
I may be behind where I could be today creating Sunkissed Combines, but in the long run, now I only have state the truth about the SG status of my Sunkissed lines.

Homo SG x Sunkissed Bloodred

This SG test is a good one, especially to a Homo male. Check our 4766's ACR record. He is a Landrace. He traces to Kathy Loves very nice Okeetee line that she created using only wild caught or hatched from wild caught Okeetees. Back then, Okeetee collectors went on their word.
Check out the photo of the checkering on one of her Okeetees. I see this same checkering on Sunkissed belly patterns as well. My Landrace Sunkisssed, and Strawberry Sunkissed lines both come from the Original Line of Sunkissed. They checkering is very heavy, and not so random.
If I was to get odd checkering on any of my Mutant Sunkissed Combine belly patterns, I would suspect a mutant gene cause, or hybridization.

Striped Topaz SK SG Free
Tessera het Hypo Motley Cinder x Het Hypo Motley Cinder
I don't have much experience with Cinder. The only one I own, is this Striped Hypo Cinder. He produced the Stripes het Cinder Bloodred below.
I seem to remember that Cinder may have a Co-Dominant Hypo gene in it. I only have 2.2 Stripe het Cinder Bloodred, but there is an obvious dark/light, pattern.
It the photos, it looks to me, like RC. RC from the Striped Bloodred perhaps? 50/50 RC, so is RC co-dominant, or is the Striped Hypo Cinder het RC?
TARGET: Tessera Motley Cinder, my first Cinder! I will need a lot of luck. This female is a Non-Tess. OK, a Tessera Cinder will be OK too.

RC Bloodred het PS Pewter x Same
I was going to take some photos of my Striped Pewter to post with the female above, but he was opaque, so how about a PS Pewter, compared to a sibling Pewter?
The PS Pewter is just starting to go Opaque, but you can see how nice he is. he is not as extreme as you may first think. Most of his white side pattern is what I would call white sided, but he does have some PS white as well.
I was going to take some photos of my Striped Pewter to post with the female above, but he was opaque, so how about a PS Pewter, compared to a sibling Pewter?

Caramel Lava Lavender het Bloodred x Anery het Striped Lava Plasma
Target: Out Crossed Lava Plasmas, but the Plasmas, and Lava Bloodreds will be interesting too.
These females may be the way that I eventually get Anery and Striped added to my "Topaz" Bloodred Project, which also has Strawberry Opal in it.

Normal het Striped Sunkissed Snow Lava x Amel het Striped Sunkissed Ice
Target: How about a Striped Sunkissed Ice?
Striped Sunkissed and/or add any other gene and I will be happy! I will take a RC Striped Amel Sunkissed, and the list can go on and on.
I have several hold back Sunkissed Lavas ph Striped Snow from these breedings.
With the Normal female in the photos, I reversed the breeding. Amel het Striped Sunkissed Ice x Normal het Striped Sunkissed Snow Lava.
I like to do this because, I won't get all Amels in the clutch. I like the possibility of getting a Striped Sunkissed Ice, otherwise, if only Amels were possible, it would make it a Striped Sunkissed Lava Snow.

RC Okeetee het Lava x RC Lava Okeetee
This is the first time I have bred this male to a Landrace Lava.
In the past it has been Landrace RC Okeetee het Lava X Landrace Okeetee het RC Lava.
Next year, I will have a few more of his Lava offspring up to size.

Sunkissed Pied-Sided x Het STARGAZER
I am glad I have a lot of het SG females to breed to the males I want to test out. With this clutch added to the others from this male, I may get the number of hatchlings I was hoping for this year to prove him SG Free.
This female is an original Kathy Love Okeetee het Sunkissed Stargazer. I might as well keep nice looking het STARGAZERS to test with.
I am glad I have a lot of het SG females to breed to the males I want to test out. With this clutch added to the others from this male, I may get the number of hatchlings I was hoping for this year to prove him SG Free.
This female is an original Kathy Love Okeetee het Sunkissed Stargazer. I might as well keep nice looking het STARGAZERS to test with.

Sunkissed Bloodred x het STARGAZER
Here is another cool looking Het Stargazer I use. She is a RC Sunkissed het Striped Lavender Stargazer. I wanted to cry when she tested positive for SG, but at least I know now, and don't produce a RC Striped Orchid Stargazer, and really have a reason to cry for!
This male produced other clutches with great fertility, so he will get tested out this year if all goes well.
I don't know what I will use him for, but I will figure out something. I will have other Sunkissed Bloodred males to use from previously proven Gazer Free lines, so they have caught up to my individual testing.
Testing a line to be Gazer free is the best way to go, instead of individual testing by far.
