2nd hook-up for this season: A Start for a New Project! :)

ya

First one looks ghost the second pic looks anery motley.
If both the parents arent homo carmel how can you be sure they are homo carmel?
Keep in mind how much ultras and ultramels vary, not to mention all the other morphs. I have seen ultramels dark and light. I would post pics but rather not high jack.

I don't think Mike would be dumb enough to call them caramels unless both parents were caramels. If I remember correctly, one was a visual golddust motley and the other was a visual butter motley.

Keep in mind how much ultras and ultramels vary,

Nobody has argued with that - just that they don't look like regulare neonatal anerythristic motleys.

Thanks fothe male was a gold dust motley and the female was a butter motley.

Like I said earlier in this thread, as well as in the thread I linked, both parents are homozygous for both caramel and motley, so all babies must be homozygous for caramel and motley. Also, one parent is homozygous for amel and the other is an ultramel, so half the babies would be butter mots and half would be gold dust mots. And, both parents are heterozygous for aner, so 1/4 of all the babies would be homozygous for aner. The way it works out, 1/4 of the gold dust motleys would also be homozygous for aner and 1/4 of the butter motleys would also be homozygous for aner. The 3 ultracaramelaner mots and the 3 snow caramel mots would be that 1/4.

I've looked at these pics on two different screens and they definitely don't look Ghost OR Anery to me. FAR from those!

The hatchling (2nd pic) looks like pure, light Ultramel Anery, but the "older" pic shows an Ultramel Anery with something odd in it: the golden shades and yellowyness. Caramel trait that is. :)

You suggested i posted some pictures of my male earlier in this thread so here he is:

PS, this is also the male i have used for the females you are interested in offspring from. ;)

The pinky browny colouring is about right but the orange is actually far stronger and more vibrant on him than this photo shows!!

I know his suspected hets one of which may cause these "off" colours, but still I'd prove him against hypo too! It's just that he doesn't seem to have much of (if any) borders around his saddles and the colour sure is pink!

I think he looks awesome! :D

Thanks, his belly seems interesting...:D

I hadn't really noticed his lack of boarders, perhaps KJ who has produced loads of them could shed a light on that?
