3 month old corn

Snape

New member
hey everyone i have 3-4 month old normal cornsnake. I was wondering about his color change. How long will it take my little guy to get orange/red/black? His spots on his top are slowly turning orange, and his back is very brown right now, but i cant wait till the vibrant color start to show more....Any time frame on this?

I've found on my Okeetee's that the colors just gradually get darker and richer with each shed. They are a little over a year and quite bright. There is other shades coming in though such as a darker wash thru some of the saddles. I'm not sure where this will end up.

thank you all. I figured it was an silly question and i knew that it will take its course, but im just so excited till hes not brown, and all of his colors are showing...My name is from harry potter much like yours....Snape Slytherin.

If I can get these 2 pictures to work I can show you my normal at around 3 or 4 months. And him at around 9 months. There is a big difference in color. :) They change fast. One of my friends saw my snake when I first got him, and then they just saw him again this past weekend, They wouldn't believe me when they saw his color. They where like "he was brown!" They thought I must have let the other one die and got a new one. LOL

The second one isn't really the best pic in the world, but I think it gives ya the idea.

I understand! Legoless was mostly brown with loads of white (see avatar) as a baby, but he's changed ever so much since then!

He's showing more and more yellow each shed.
