A couple of Jungle pics

One thing I will say is handle an adult Carpet before deciding. Some people don't like the fact that when a carpet gets worried/stressed it climbs, which means it heads towards your face.....

That certainly doesn't bother me.

I find the idea of them being visible all the time quite appealing. Appealing enough to think about building a nice naturalistic display for one!

Maybe....
IJ's get 4 1/2 -5 1/2 feet... Jungles get 6-8 feet
Jungle jags 6-8 feet IJ jags get 5-7 feet
They are slender so look a lot smaller than a Dum of the same size when in a viv....
Both are great snakes, you need to decide what ticks all the boxes for your particular needs and go and look at some adult snakes to make a proper informed decision....
If it was me I would get a Carpet, but I would say that. wouldn't I....LOL

Well, none sound bigger than what I think I can take care of. I think I will be trying to meet adults of some of the various species I am considering. I do have to say your carpets are beautiful, which is what made me think I should consider them as a possible snake for me in the future.

The going for the face thing doesn't worry me, I am fine with being a snake tree. Now, if they are going for my face with mouth wide open, that might be a little alarming.... :)

If either of you do go looking for a carpet, hunt down Yasser.... He's on your side of the pond and can do you some stunners....

It'll be a few years for me, but I'll try to remember the tip!

As for type, I like anything with bright yellow in it, and given my probable future snake budget it looks like that will mean a jungle.
