A couple of my favorites..

I decided I'd quit posting snapshots and start doing some real photos of my babies again. Here's a few of my favorites in the collection, as it's a lot of work snake wrangling, taking pics, working with lighting etc by yourself. I need an assistant, lol. Anyhow, enjoy the pics and let me know what you think.

Pretty simple really. I use a Canon digital SLR with a 580EX flash, bounce the flash off a silver reflector, and set the snake on a piece of plain white posterboard against the wall on a table basically. Just tape the top of the posterboard to the wall, the bottom onto the table, insert snake and fire away!

wow, those are really nice shots. We had a small, basic photography class in college and I realized it is harder than it looks to come up with good shots.

Makes me want to put a "good" camera on my list of expensive-things-I'll-buy-someday.

Nice snakes too, I love the stripe.

Great pics! The first time I see a proper pic of hypo stripe - even though it's quite simple morph. I think hypo is a bit underrated, but it shouldn't be. For example that hypo stripe is GORGEOUS! :)

Thanks.. I've also got a female hypo stripe from the same clutch who's just as pretty. I'd like to find a good example from someone else either male or female so I can produce some more of these next year.
