a different Striped Bloodred

Curiosity killed the cat I know! But, I was wondering what the goal is with the Striped Bloodreds and Motley Bloodreds projects? It doesn’t seem like the Bloodred Pattern will have any effect in the Stripes or Motleys, so is getting the Bloodred Color into these Morphs the goal? You seem to have that already and they are stunning! Or is the goal genetic, which would produce double homo snakes that you can use on either morph to produce the other much like the Hypo Snows?

Do you have further plans to test breed them, to see if they are Homo Bloodred? I guess an easy test would be to bred each one of them to Bloodreds which would produce Bloodreds het for striped, which would be good anyway so they would be outcrossed.

I was just curious, because I have seen several Bloodred Motley projects in the works as well. I have some female Amel Stripes getting ready for their second clutches. Hum, Amel Bloodred Stripes. That sounds pretty good too!

I absolutely will test these guys out to known bloodreds before I dare sell any or even call these definate Striped bloods. I cant put my finger on it but these guys look different to me. I have bred a ^%$^%$ load of Stripes but these guys are different somehow. I will let everyone know how they turn out. The guy who I got the project from has some Anery Striped Bloodreds that are a silky silvery color and are stunning! I can bet they are actual Striped Anery Bloods without the test breedings. You really have to see them. I'll try and talk a recent photo out of him. Later
 
It seems to me that the "phantom hypo effect" of the motley and striped genes will be a worthwhile outcome of the bloodred x motley or striped endeavors. I suspect, that just as is true with aneries, the motley version may be similar to a hypo version in bloodreds, but with enough difference to make them desireable.

Who would have guessed the effects that hypo has on the common snow corn? However, the results are stunning in many cases.

Even so, I am of the opinion the multiple homozygous animals are valuable for that reason alone. Especially in the case of males, it is a brilliant way to save rack space!

They are stunning! I hope you can get a photo of the Striped Anery Bloods posted.

I can certainly see now the Hypo effect of the Striped or Motley gene, would have a nice effect on the Bloodreds. It certainly seems so. They look incredible.

Rack space is alway at a premium. It would be nice to have a Striped Bloodred (Ferrari) in the garage, instead of two Bloodred (Chevys).
