Cute pics.....reminds me of when I was a kid. My friend from grade school, Snakepimp, and I used to spend hours chasing salamanders, newts, frogs, and garter snakes. It was good fun...

Yup thats what they are Red-backed Salamander (Plethodon cinereus) I was JUST about to post info ... thanks
