Cute pics.....reminds me of when I was a kid. My friend from grade school, Snakepimp, and I used to spend hours chasing salamanders, newts, frogs, and garter snakes. It was good fun...

Wonderful day, Erica. That totally makes up for me spending mine more or less on my own. (Brutus doesn't have the same curiosity for salamanders and flowers.)

Aww such cute little pics.. Looks like the kids had fun.. You cant find much in my backyard.. Thats cool that there is so much wonder right outside your backdoor :)
 
Yup thats what they are Red-backed Salamander (Plethodon cinereus) I was JUST about to post info ... thanks ;)
