A little help please?

Looking for a little help with Salvador's genetics... she's a normal, but we think she must be het amel because she had one normal and one amel parent, and most of the babies were amel in her clutch. (There may be other possible hets as I think there were also a couple of ghosts, but I never saw them when I picked her up). So am I right in thinking she must be het amel?

Also, does this mean that if we breed her with an ultramel (not for 3 years or so) then we'd get 1/4 ultramel 1/4 amel 1/2 normal (technically)? We're trying to think of interesting breeding plans for her for the future and beginning to look at getting a male snake in the next year or so. Are there any other interesting projects we could do with her, any ideas?

Thanks!

If one of the parents was amel then yes, Salvador will be 100% het amel. Amel is pretty common so there are lots of projects that you could work with. It comes down to what you like and how much you want to spend. Your X ultramel outcome looks right.

This means the normal parent was at least het amel. As far as the her being het Amel. I would say Yes. If they Amel parent was Homo Amel ...it should be 50% normal het Amel and 50% Amel no hets

However if Ghost were also produced out of her clutch, Then there is a chance that he has Anery and Hypo mixed in the bunch. "However" if anery and hypo were in the mix her clutch mates would of been snows and hypos, Anery's and ghost. Gotta love Genetics........

Gosh, confusing! When we picked up salvador we only saw amels and normals, but the lady said there were ghosts but when we got there they were all sold. Maybe they came from a different clutch and she was just telling us all that she had. I'll have to ask the breeder lady, she was really nice so I'm sure she won't mind.
Thank you both for the help :) Just wanted to check we've got this right!
