A Midsummer Night's Project (Amber Lavs, Amber Opals + More)

I am a huge Shakespeare geek. I love my snakes. So, I decided to combine them in this project (though they're not my only snakes named for Shakespeare characters).

Saying that I'm excited about what these guys might produce, eventually, is an understatment. For now, though, they're all amazing animals and I'm just glad to have them in my home.

Forgive the poor quality of the pictures. Sometimes they don't cooperate, sometimes I bungle my camera operating skills.

Lysander: My lavender boy from one of last year's breeding. He picks up a little more peach every shed.

Demetrius: Amber lav from Josh Enlow/airenlow, out of the mystery line. He likes to chew on my fingers. Not strike, just casually open up and nom.

And the girls:

Hermia: Anber lav female, also from Josh. Terrible picture of her but we're still working on being held. She's not bitey or flighty but she is flinchy.

And last but not least!

Helena: Amber opal female, also from Josh. She is one of the sweetest girls in the collection.
