Buckcherry. anyone ever listen to these guys? pure dirty, gritty rock n roll.
they split up a few years ago, but now they're back, and they have a new disc out, but right now it's only available in Asia, and won't be out in the rest of the world until spring '06. here is a place where you can get the cd now though - along with some other rare buckcherry stuff.

and no it's not illegal to download this cd, as it doesn't fall under US copyright laws. they have no distribution deal in the usa yet for this cd, these songs aren't YET copyrighted in the usa, etc.... ENJOY & ROCK ON!!!!!!!!

I have the self-titled disc with "Lit Up" on it. Love that album and song, and I still throw it on once in a while. I've never even tried cocaine, but I really like a number of songs about it. :shrugs:
 
i strongly encourage you guys to check out their newest cd,15, it rocks. it's better than the 2nd cd, and definately better than josh's solo cd. that link also has other cool buckcherry songs, including a live version of Lit Up.

and dean, don't bother ever wasting your $$ on cocaine.

I'll have to check out that link when I'm on a real connection (on dial-up at the moment).

My corn addiction leaves me scrounging for cigarette money. I can't afford to take on a third addiction anyway. ;)
 
Cool! Its good to know that there are others out there who like them. I've got the first album they put out and still play it every once in awhile. Thanks for letting us know that a new album is out.
 
i have all 3 buckcherry cd's. i've seen them live twice. i hope they do another U.S. tour soon. if these guys would've been around in the late 80's/early 90's i think they would've been HUGE. They are pretty big in Japan, which is why the cd is out over there and not here. they're actually in the top 20 over in Japan.
 
Excuse me for digging up this old thread, but I couldn't help it! I'm going to see them in concert tonight. My first time seeing them live.
 
I just got home from the concert. It was so cool! Three local bands were there too. It was a great show because the place is small so everyone is up close and can see the faces of the band members. The lead singer is SO hot!
 
I've liked them since they first popped up on the radio years ago. Saw them open for AC/DC after their 2nd album came out. Definitely a good ole rock n' roll band. If you like Buckcherry, there's a similar style band named Hinder, who just put out their 1st album last year.
 
Yeah, its been 12 hours since the concert and my ears are still ringing! It really was great. And the food they had at the place was realy good. I ate a huge plate of cheese fries with bacon bits. Good eats! Good music!
 
what was the setlist like? i'm probably gonna go up to chicago friday night and see them (again).
 
I don't remember song by song, but a few from the new album, a few from the 2nd album, a couple from the 1st album, and of course, "Lit Up" was the finale.
