A snake that loves to hide all the time..

Hi Peeps..

I have got a bit of a worry about our Albino 2 year old Shelby..

Since his last shed has been very inactive and hiding away alot in his cool hide.

Shelby has been suffering from mites lately (before his last shed) so we got a mite spray and after that we managed to cure it, for about 2 weeks or so before he shed he was the complete opposite very active and out in this tank nearly all day.

It wasn't for 7 weeks until he shed.

We can get him out no problem, he viberates his tail every so often but we work with it and he comes around in the end and lets us pick him up.

He is feeding fine.. This snake loves his food :), his nose and eyes are crystal clear no discharge or infection can been seen.

It just upsets me a bit why he chooses to hide himself away from everyone the minute we put him back into his tank.

I love having cuddles with him he is my little baby lol (sorry if am taking this too far here) i am just over sensitive lol.

I hope it is nothing major to worry about cause i would hate it if he is upset about anything.

Any advice would be grateful

Thanks

Rik & Shelby Snake

Mine mostly hide all the time. Especially Inez. I got her in November, age three months. I saw her once or twice in the first couple days, then NEVER AGAIN!! I mean never! Except last night, I saw her sticking her head out about an inch from her hide, three times! Maybe now that she's a year old, she's starting to lose her milksnake skittishness...

Mine hide all day too, especially if they're feeling well-fed. When they start to get hungrier they become very active after sundown, climbing around searching for food. Before shed they of course hide all day and night.

Gald to hear that it aint just Shelby then lol

I dont know.. What we going to do with these snakes?

Bless there coils :)
