This snake is one I'm super excited about.
She's a Bloodred possible het for caramel, amel, ultra.
Her grandmother was my first ever bloodred who I bred with an orange butter (proven butter) in the hopes of making orange bloodreds some day. That bloodred, who was a stunning stunning solid red snake died of a sickeness that infected all of my corn snakes. I lost 4 snakes (a quarter of my collection at the time) that year
This girlis now the offspring of one of her het daughters and a "het golddust" that I picked up a few years back. Mr. "het golddust" proved last year to be het ultra and produced two bloods and two ultramel bloods, no caramel bloods yet.
But anyway, she was the most diffused and the most red of the that clutch (the picture looks more brown than she really is) so I'm keeping her as a replacement for her grandmother. She may not be the most amazing breeding specimen, but I want a pure bloodred in my collection and she should be a really good looking one. Her belly is 75% red.
