Hooked for life!!
Well I came home tonight and did a check up on all my snakes. They were all active and happy and so I decided to weigh Maize tonight. She weighed 312 grams!!!! A great weight!! So I thought..Hmm...I have been anxiously waiting to breed her..and I know all my snakes were preparing for breeding because literally Striker, Aries and Maize shed within the same 2 weeks..lol..

Anyway..Last time when I tried to put Maize with Aries she panicked. Trying desperately to get away from him and showed no interest what so ever..So tonight I put her with Striker..They both immediately started to twitch and dance with one another (that's what I called it..lol)..After a few minutes Striker made his move and there was an instant hookup!! I was happy but not thrilled because I wanted her to be with Aries, not Striker..but I was happy that my very first attempt was a successful hookup that I got to watch and did get some pics of! :) (Don't worry pics will be posted later)..

Anyway..After they finished I had a crazy idea..Maybe since Maize was in the breeding mood now, maybe she would like Aries...So even though she had just bred with Striker, I put her in Aries's tub (keeping a watchful eye in case anything went wrong or if she seemed too stressed.). But thankfully everything went well..Aries started to twitch to get her attention and this time she was very interested..So literally within minutes, THEY HOOKED UP!..I couldn't believe the luck I was having..The 2 snakes I have been anticipating to mate were mating right in front of me!! Now I was thrilled! I'm going to keep them together for the next 2 or 3 days..and then I'm going to give her a break. I just really want her first clutch to be from Aries, not from Striker..Are my chances good that her eggs (praying she has eggs and that they hatch) will be from Aries?

Unless there are totally different genetics involved, it may well be impossible to know who fathered the clutch.
 
Well Aries is a snow male, and Striker is an anery male...Maize is a normal (possibly het snow) female...
 
It will be impossible for you to tell really, except for any amels that pop up. Unless striker is also het amel then it really is a "who knows!" situation. It would be different with my female and her two potential males, for example. My girl is a ghost and her two potential mates are an anery and a bloodred p/h charcoal, hypo. Any normals/hypos would be from the bloodred, and all aneries would be from the anery.
