You know,I felt my most attractive during pregnancy! Odd,I know! I had that really cool thing going on where you couldn't tell I was pregnant from the back but as soon as I turned around I had a basketball in front of me. Pregnancy only made it to 7 months but,darn I felt cute and had the cutest little outfits. I also only gained 15lbs and lost 30lbs in a month because of breast-feeding. Best diet EVER! Nobody ever took pics of me while pregnant though. Guess they just assumed I wouldn't want them to. The only pic I have of me pregnant was when I was 5 months along and I wasn't even showing yet so it doesn't count. Matt also has a thing for pregnant chicks so that probably helped my self-esteem. Oh and I think stretch marks are great! They're my Mommy Scars! I don't go around showing them off or anything but I'm not repulsed by them.

That was one of my best friends. The only reason we discussed it was because I said, "Hey, did somebody post this on x-forum?" and she said, "Well... kinda... but not like that, why?" And the PM was far from nasty, and you know what? You exaggerated and borderline lied about that thread on here, and you got called out on it.

I vote grow up.
 
Just so everyone knows, while I'm not going to link that forum, the content of the pictures has been exaggerated (shall we say?) and the context in which they posted was ignored.

This is what happens when you count on people only knowing your side of story.

Calling me rude and immature was not nasty? LOL...oh kay. You're right that Pm was kittens and butterflies.

Your right...shes wearing a friggin' washcloth around her crotch and in one photo the only reason you can't see her "stuff" is from the shadow...I didn't study the photos for more tha a split second and my impression was she was naked...so excuse me...not nude...just pretty dang close.

as far as everything else....I fail to see you issue??

They were never edited. You simply went way over the top in your description.

Also, you would have had to have looked through almost all of the pictures to see the SINGLE breastfeeding shot... and I'm not sure why you would have done that, if the subject so bothers you?

Well, since you did show this woman and her daughter soooo much respect, understanding, and civility, I suppose I understand why would you expect the same in return. :rolleyes:

For anyone interested, while I'm not the "mommy" type, the photos were 100% innocent and if you saw nipple, it was because you were looking a little to hard for it.

ON this computer the photos load SLOW so I saw lots of little x's that hadn't loaded...I was in the middle of the thread when the photos loaded.

The nipple is 3 inches across on my screen! Are you blind????? ITs a huge photo! Its still up! Did you even look at the thread??

I have no desire to show them any respect and I never expected it in return...I simply stated the pm was nasty and it was. The lack of a NSFW tag on the thread was beyond RUDE IMO.

I'll grow up when you get a sence of humor luv....seriously..

I think this thread has taken a wrong turn. The initial post was about

1 another post
2 on a dog forum
3 in the 'off topic' section which
4 showed a glimpse of breast during the nursing process.


Nursing is natural, and the post was in an off topic forum so one would expect other things besides site content, but if the OP was offended, let him talk about his feelings. Who knows, in the exchange of ideas, perhaps each side will understand the other side better.

But the thread has now deteriorated into a bicker between people who have actually seen the photo.

Time for the 'how to debate' FAQ, but alas it has not been created yet.

A true and civil difference of opinion makes us think, and helps us understand.
 
Emily, cool it. The OP posted here for a couple of reasons.

Much of the issue seems to be with HOW the thread came up for her as opposed to SPECIFICALLY the context of the thread. It was a lot of the unexpected nature of it that seems to have caused the biggest shock.

Why would you go about poking other people to see if it was them? What is the POINT in dragging this from one place to the other? There was no identifying information, or even a personally insulting comment, merely a *I personally am uncomfortable with pregnant bellies, I feel that the over-stretched state is a perilous situation, and makes me uncomfortable*. Large resolution photos seem to also be the issue, especially without warning.

You have never clicked on the last page of a thread? Without loading the first few pages? Mayhap that's why the first impression was a nursing photo.

Chriosphynx, I don't think you did anything wrong, and please don't be afraid to post here in the future!

I also vote for laugh harder. Maybe the recently-pregnant lady in question will calm down after the hormones stabilize. Pregnancy hormones do WEEEEIRD things!

Only I believed YOUR misleading descriptions until I saw the photos myself, deary, poopsykins, lovey. (Please stop with the condesceding pet names. That is incredibly rude, as I'm sure you noticed when I used them. Thank you.) I finally saw the photos myself. Had the photos been what your described, I would have continued agreeing with you. They weren't. So now I don't. Simple enough?

I agree the thread needed a warning. One has since been added. Yay. The woman who posted the pictures should probably apologize for not including one to begin with.

I actually vision that's better than 20/20, thanks. There is maybe, maybe the barest hint of a nipple, but it could also be shadow. Do you have super nipple vision???? Apparently.

I have an excellent sense of humor, and I'm actually not sure how that's relevant at all... I suppose I don't find bullying funny, but believe me, I can laugh at just about anything. (Like this thread... :roflmao:)

Since you said you wanted the woman who posted the pictures to see this, you should go ahead and send her link if you're so convinced you're in the right. :)

Darkpixie, I'm fine, thanks. :shrugs: The OP made comments implying that not did she find pregnancy disgusting (fine, so I do, honestly) but that the person in the photos was ugly or repulsive herself. Not to mention, the thread is called "AAHHHHH, my eyes". The whole thing is just a giant exaggeration of the situation, and her retelling of the content of the pictures is completely inaccurate.

I will no longer be posting in this thread. My final comment is that it's amazing what a small world we have thanks to the internet, huh? I think it's good; forces us to own up.

I understand why you would want a nudity warning everyone feels differently about nakedness and knowing this posting a warning is just respectful thats all.

Emily, whether or not the pics offended you is besides the point if they offended anyone else. Boobs and other parts aren't offensive to me I own the same stuff and have a partner with a set of his own stuff, but not everyone is liberal about this topic plain and simple. If your proud of your new baby or grandchild post the child away from its moms nipple no matter how visable it was to be on the respectful end-its not so hard to understand. Having a cloth covering your vagina isn't exactly inconspicuous you know nor does that have a place on a puppy forum even in the off topic section.

I don't need to see these pics to know partial nudity is not cool on an open non porn forum:) Now on some other forums sure,lol
 
Ugh, I wouldn't want to randomly come across that either. Even if it was "mostly" covered up. I won't argue that breastfeeding is natural, but I will never understand the need to put pictures of it online and post it for acquaintances to see.

Intercourse is natural too, but nobody here is posting pictures of it for other forum members.
