After both my snakes eat the dart or jolt while moving forward...They are both about 2 years old and I've had them almost their whole lives and never have noticed this before. Is this normal? Why do they do that?

Are you touching them say within the last 5 mins of them getting prey down?

Snakes as they get older stay in the mode to hunt food longer. Most babies, feed them put them away.

Adults tend to do that jerking and stuff because they are still in a sensitive mode.

Let them be for about 20 minutes after they've eaten, see if they are still jumpy.
