Aggressive Snake

Amanda how often are your feeding him his double pinks and are they tiny pinks are larger pinks? He can easily be fed every 5 days on his doubles and at 16 grams with the feeding lump leaving quickly could do the larger pinks (approx. 3 gms each total of 5-6 gms). Or if he has the girth to handle it you could feed him a small peach fuzzy cut in half length wise and let him eat both halves, I have one here that is around 14-15 gms and just fed on a 5 gm peach fuzzy cut in half length wise and did just fine, has already had a post feed poop in 46-50 hrs. The peach fuzzies and fuzzies give more nutrition and stick to the ribs more.
 
Oh ok, that's a good Idea. I will take a look at his girth and the size of the mice when I feed him on ... Thursday or so. I fed him one medium? size pinkie and one small pinkie? I didn't weigh the pinkies. My scale tends to not be so accurate at ~5 grams or less. I can give it a try next time I feed him though. I still don't know if my lil guy pooped yet. I haven't found anything, but the aspen is kind of hard to tell? I fed him Saturday morning, so he should poop soon I hope!
 
what a cute little hateling! i love love LOVE when they try to pull attitude like that :)

and with him being that small, his poops are ALSO going to be very small, and yes, sometime they're very hard to find, especially in the shredded aspen
 
Next time you pick up pinkies from Annie, tell her you want three day old pinkies. Two of those should work just fine. When it gets to be around 22 grams, I'd bump him up to peach fuzzies. Nice looking hateling. Sooner or later it will get used to you.

Thanks Pete. I picked him up today and there was NO striking! YAY!!! I hope he continues his good behavior. I gave Annie a call and left a message. I may have some in the lot I got from her. They are varrying sizes. I will make sure to keep an eye on his weight and bump him up when he gets there.
He is a pretty little hateling eh? At least he has a personality.
