Nice little snake! Um, just a suggestion though...maybe you could turn off the cap locks. In e-mail it's kind of like you're yelling at someone :)

Sorry about the Cap lock, didnt mean to yell at anyone, just happy to be a Corn snake owner, please forgive me if anyone was offended.:sobstory:

I have noticed nobody calls their snakes albino, is the another name for them. I bought him at a pet store and the man just said he was an albino?

Actually the correct term is Amelanistic, which means they lack the black pigment. There are various genes for color, and many corns are bred to remove certain ones. Aneurtheristic lacks red and yellow I think it is, and then the snows and blizzards lack all of them. It's not true albinoism like you see in mammals. I have an amel. too. She was my first, and here's what she looks like. She is the calmest snake in the world! You are going to become totally addicted to these little critters.

He's so cute! Do you have the Cornsnake Manual by Kathy Love yet? If not, I'd suggest you get a copy and read it. It's got great information on care, and a whole section on the color morphs. It's a great reference book and not too expensive.

lol aren't they wonderful?! About 3 people in my house hated the idea but now are entranced with Eden ( sounds like a porno or romance novel title, Entranced with Eden, lol, okay I'll stop). Eden's even bit me four times in the space of a minute, because someone decided to turn on some really loud metal music, but that didn't affect how much I really like him/her.
