Albino lighting

Hello all!

I just bought an albino corn snake or i believe it is also called a snow corn snake. I have been reading around about the proper lighting for it and have been getting a lot of different answers.

So...what type of lighting should i use for my snake? I am a major newbie so you can speak to me like im dumb haha. Thanks in advance for the help.

Sure you could use an UTH (under tank heater). What you want is one side warm 80-85 and cool 70-75. You could use a red light they put out heat but the snake can't see the light. You also need a way to regulate heat, i.e. thermometer, thermostat... I do think I remember one breeder from Florida who doesn't use heat at all.

Congrats on your new baby! I got a snow corn for my first snake as well ( only a few weeks ago). Warning!!! These snakes are highly addicting. I already have 2 with plans for more. hehe This is a great site to come and learn. Feel free to ask questions or look through old posts. There are a lot of posts from others that probably have the same kinds of questions as you. :)
