albino need a diet >>????

hi everyone ,


I got a dilemma. Just wonder if my new albino is a normal size for a corn ?? She looks huge, I do not know too much about much yet , because she is my first adult, so i just wondering, a mouse seems to be not enough for her. She is only 1 years and half, she is 1m30. I do not know her weight yet but she is pretty fat.
Any advice is appreciated! thanks

What would be really helpful is if you posted a picture of her near her vent.
Generally if she has little fatty deposits that look like "hips" then she probally needs a diet.
But an adult female should be eatting a large mouse every 7 days.

Given that she's only 18 months old and she looks about adult size, she's growing at about twice the rate I'd expect to see.

She doesn't look overweight for her length but she does look too big for her age (if you see what I mean).

What are you feeding her and how often? Now she's reached her adult size, I'd recommend one adult mouse every 10-14 days to make sure she doesn't turn into a porker.

It's unusual for yearlings to be obese as they are generally still growing. However, if she's been powerfed to get her to this size, you might want to be very conservative and go to every 10-14 days for feeding.

Feel free to throw rocks at me if this is a stupid question :grin01: ...but don't creamsicles look a bit like pale, orangey amels? And if she were a creamsicle, couldn't that account for faster growth and a heavier snake? :shrugs:

I haven't noticed that the hybrids (Creamcicles) are any larger than pure corns. Larger size seems to be related to both individual genetics and feeding.
