Adults perfered. I want to decide which one to get that will look kooler as an adult, HE WILL GO THROUGH QUARENTINE FOR 90 DAYS!!!

I think that is completely up to you. If you want big mass you should go for a big constrictor snake. I have an amel and a normal one. They both look really nice. So have a look around. Browse through the photo section here on the site. You'll find the answer there I supppose

I don't know if the colour/pattern selection you have listed makes much difference, but I do know that my biggest corn snakes are generally okeetees and normals.

That's up to individual perception. What might look big to one person might not look big to another. Why do you want to make a corn snake look bigger than it is? Why does it matter?

I'm guessing you're looking for the shock value. So why don't you get a King Cobra? Some get up to 18ft long. And hopefully, it'll take a bite out of you and leave you dead. ;D

Is it just me or is that comment uneeded? I am trying not to say anything that I will get chased away for again

Regardless, what's done is done. I doubt many people will let go of their judgement of you even if you're not saying anything that would have you hanged.

misery, why would you wish death on someone because of their past husbandry screw ups? That comment was very childish and unnecessary. RA there are some pretty awesome pics at cornsnake.net in their photo gallery. They show like 60 different morphs, I think, and the quality of photography is no less than perfect.

I have read with interest the ongoing saga of R_A and he's somewhat foolish posts, but until now chose to remain silent as I took the view along with others that it wouldn't help the situation and indeed could have made it worse.

However, I now feel the need to make comment because of the ridiculously childish response of Misery (apt name btw).

Do I forgive R_A for his past endeavours? Well quite frankly, lifes too short for them to worry me enough to feel the need to forgive him. He has decided to take a different approach to the forum and whether I find it a genuine change or a contrived one really doesn't matter.

What does matter however is other peoples attempts (MISERY) to goad R_A into yet another disagreement. I can only assume you actually enjoyed the previous debacles involving R_A and others and now feel some kind of loss that maybe, just maybe it's all over.

If you really haven't got anything constructive to say misery then may I respectfully suggest you say nothing at all as you're in danger of inheriting the tag that R_A hopefully has given up.

And please don't think for one moment you have the ability to draw me any further on this topic as unlike yourself I do not have a desire to get into conflict with people unnecessarily.

Of course I expect you to respond as is your right, but please don't expect I will do the same.

I'm sure you've already seen pictures of my amel, but he is large.

As to which color/pattern makes them look more massive, the only one I'd say it makes a difference on is the motley. Motleys just seem to look more slender than their equal weighted counterparts...especially the striped motleys. (Not having had stripes, I can't comment on them.) If a bigger corn is what you are after, I'd agree with others and recommend going for an Okeetee. They've got big, bold saddles, brilliant colors, and actually on average do get bigger than others. Even if they don't, their big saddles and coloration gives them a "big" look.
