Just wondering if anyone has been to Scott Smith's All Animal Expo in Wheaton, IL? I was thinking about taking my son to it on Aug. 1st but it is three hours away so I don't want to bother if it is not worth it. Thanks.

I've been doing the show since in was in Streamwood. It is a great show with lots to see. I've done some other area shows and this one blows the rest away based on size and variety. If you go, and I highly recommend it, stop by and say hi.

Thanks for the reply. If we come, we will definately stop by. We have some other things going on in the same time frame but I really want to make it. We have not been to a reptile show before and I think it would be neat. I am trying really hard to wait to buy a second corn until after we move in the fall but just out of curiosity will you have any Okeetees or Abbott's Okeetees at the show?
 
I've been to it a few years ago when it was in Streamwood. It was really fun, nice size, lots of animals.
 
I am hoping to make it too... been trying to get there for months! We are about an hour away, not ridiculously far, but still a tough thing to squeeze in. My parents are in town that weekend, so I'm not sure how they'll feel about it. Anyway, it would be fun to all meet up at Terri's booth. I'll post again if we decide to go, but won't know for sure until the day before.
 
That would be fun if we could meet up. Like you I won't know if I can go until we get closer to the date. My family has a big event coming up and the date is not set yet due to some outside influences. It will be somewhere between the 1st and the 5th. If it is after the 1st I am coming to the expo., if it is on the 1st, obviously I can't. Its about a three hour drive for me but I haven't been to a reptile show before and I think it would be neat for my son and I. Also my teenage neice likes reptiles so I think I could get her to come as well. I will let you know if I am going. If we can't meet up at this one maybe we can at a later one.

i go pretty often. i actually picked up a corn for fathers day. lots of options and choices. my daughter (5years old) loves it. i hope to pick up a irian jaya carpet soon.... in any case i highly recommend it. i also heard that since i was there last on fathers day, they have moved into a bigger building to accommodate all of the people and vendors...
