Hi all! I currently have 7 snakes today 2 shed and 1 will most likely shed by morning, then while changing water I found 2 more blued up!! That is 5 out of 7 all shedding at the same time. Is this ok, or could my temp. or humid. be off? None are sick or anything I'm just kinda wondering if this is normal or if I may have a problem that I haven't detected. I read the manual and could find nothig there to indicate a problem so I'm probably just being over cautious!! I wonder feel better if any of you could "shed" some light on this!! (hehe I know that was terrible!)

Thanks all

Colleen

Hi Colleen,
No I dont think there is a problem. Your snakes are just in sync this month,I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd say you should worry about it either...
just something that happened....

but if you do worry, keep an eye on them just in case....

but I wouldn't worry too much about it....

haha

Don't worry at all!

This often happens at my house. But if you think about it all my snakes are on relatively the same feeding schedual, and usually I have at least two shedding at one time.

Thanks All!!!!

I feel better now! I didn't think about the fact that their schedules for feeding and everything else being the same, makes sence that some would follow the same shed pattern too!

THanks so much:D I knew I could count on this group to make me feel more at ease~! It's so nice to have this forum with so many really great experienced people that share their knowledge. I think I would have had a stroke by now without it!!

Thanks!!!

Colleen

thats great

I am not sure how long you have owned snakes but something I have learned is that most of the stuff we humans poke 'em and prode 'em about is nothing to concern ourselves over.

Now all I worry about is temps, food, water and clean cages!

I leave the rest up to them :) *L*
