i have a NEW SNAKE HES 2 YEARS OLD AND im wondering if im holding him to much 2 times a day? is that stressful on him?:shrugs:

First make sure you don't hold him for 2-3 days after feeding him.

Holding him a couple of times a day should not be too much for a 2 yr old. Just watch for any sign that he is stressed. Signs can be him breathing real hard or fast or if after holding him for a while he tries to get away or seems restless.

You said it's "new." How new is new? If you just got it, give it some time to get used to the new surroundings. Being 2 years old is good, in that it's not fragile so you don't have the worry of hurting it.

Go with what Rich said... after giving 2-3 days to digest, a couple of handlings a day will be fine. Watch for signs that he's had enough.

i give 3 days after feeding to hold him just in case and he doesent really show signs of being stressed he is pretty reluctant to go back some times
