(spelling of "eger" i know)

i've had my 7 week old for two days and he's just started poping his head out of his hide, is it to early to try an handle him. When i pu him in his viv he was scared but i want him to get use to being handled.

would it be worth putting my hands in the viv and letting him run over them?? or pick him up or just leave him for a bit?

Everyone's a little over eager about their first snake. But you really should try and stick to leaving it alone for now. It needs a little bit of time to adjust to it's surroundings! You probably wouldn't like it if someone you didn't know walked into your house two days after you moved in to it, right?

:DGive him at least a week to get use to his home first. Then you can try to start handling him. Its hard to be wait when you when you get a new snake. Even i have to remind my self to give them some time.
