Amel bloodred?

Hello everyone, this is Cornflake, my one and only snake. When I got her, I was told she was an amel bloodred, but I've never heard of that before or since, and I don't know enough to be able to tell. What do you think? This is quite an old picture, she's bigger than this now...

Yes, her belly is completely white. She also has red eyes, obviously. Funny how humans get red-eye from camera flash, but snakes that actually have red eyes don't.

Here are photos of my two fires. As you can see, Saffyre is brighter, more solid colored, whereas Calcifer is more diffused.

She's lovely! Yes, I would say she's a fire/amel blood red. :)

Hey! My first snake's name was Cornflake too! hehehe

Yup, sure looks like a Fire

& you have confirmed this from what you have, already, stated with regards the ventral lack of checkering.

They change quite considerably (dependant upon the line) from the hatchling to Yearling/ sub-adult stage.

Here's an example of a female 'Keeper' from 2006.

I have to stop reading this thread. Fires are what made me spend my whole tax return on snakes! I didn't buy any, just heard there were some at Joe Pierce's sale, and got really distracted by other things...
