Finally, my butter het anery mot x het butter anery mot clutch is hatching!

And what's this first one out, an amel mot? (first one of those I've ever gotten!)

Looks a little funky, but sure seems motley...

Beautiful! This definitely seems to be the year for oddball babies. o_O
Ooof, is it? I heard it was the year of bad clutches and certainly I had a lot of unexpected issues. But really, just glad to have these two!

it's really beautiful, I'm not sure what to say. I've seen mot's with belly checkers but it's really rare.

Thanks!

I've seen checkered motleys posted about before, too, but only as babies... anyone heard whether they prove out to be homozygous motley or not?

Such a weird looking little snake.. Even the belly checkers are off.. Beautiful mockley..

Yeah it's weird how the belly is more "banded" than "checkered"... I'll have to check back some time and see if that runs through the whole belly or just that stretch.

What a cutie . . . I like all the funky saddles and how the bottom half is so much paler than the top half!

There have been a lot of babies hatching out that look motley on top but have the belly checks, or way more saddles than normal. Very odd . . . that and all the problems with clutches. Definitely something in the water :shrugs:

This is the Maelog sibling clutch, right? Cool! Can't wait to see the rest :)

Thanks ceduke!

sweet~nichole~marie: yep, this is a full sib to Maelog! ... of course, with the luck going around this year it'll be the only "motley" in the clutch :uhoh:
