Amel vs Hybino

Does the hypomelanism in a Hybino affect the snake's phenotype any? I've read that the hypo is masked, but i've also read that it enhances the reds or causes the phenotype to be intermediate between hypo and amel. Any thoughts?

I've heard that also, but have no proof one way or the other. I did have one clutch that had the possibility to produce both amels and hybinos, and there is a difference in the coloration between the couple of amel hatchlings that I got, but whether it is due to the addition of hypo or just normal variation, only future breeding trials will tell.
